Good News from Finland aims to offer digital services that can be used by anyone regardless of any impairment through disability or circumstance.

We have thus taken measures to ensure that the website’s ease of use is a top priority and the clarity and comprehensibility of our contents remains unrestrictive. This encompasses our text, images, infographics and videos, and the overall layout and navigation of the website.

We strive for a technically well-implemented web service that is logical and free of error. This ensures that our digital services work well with a variety of terminals and assistive technologies such as voice control and screen readers.

We are committed to the EU Accessibility Directive and the implementing Act on the Provision of Digital Services (in Finnish). This means that our website must comply with the level A and AA requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 criteria.

Good News from Finland currently contains non-accessible content that is not within the scope of the applicable legislation or has not yet been made accessible due to a disproportionate burden.
