Digital Workforce bags EUR 3 million and expands
Intelligent automation company Digital Workforce has closed a three million-euro funding round from existing investors.
The capital boost will enable the company to further develop its Digital Worker cloud platform and continue its international expansion.
sets out to transform business processes with the help of digital workers, powered by robotic process automation. Its solutions harness machine learning and AI to enable organisations to automate even more complex tasks and utilise also unstructured data, such as speech, images, text and sensor data.
The funding will also further the development of selected cognitive technologies. The company predicts these will have a significant impact on business processes, both in bringing more efficiency and in generating something completely new.
Earlier seed investors Leena Niemistö and Lifeline Ventures took part in the round, along with Capman Growth Fund.
“The company is growing very fast and it employs the largest number of certified intelligent automation specialists in Northern Europe,” saysTimo Ahopelto of Lifeline Ventures. “They are a skilled team with a practical take on cognitive technologies in a rapidly growing market.”
Digital Workforce currently operates in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Poland, and is looking further afield after this latest funding.
