Etteplan continues expansion in China
Finnish engineering company Etteplan has opened its seventh office in China.
The latest expansion is to central China’s most populous city, Wuhan, which is also the capital of the Hubei Province. The move comes as Etteplan is witnessing growing demand for its services among Chinese customers.
The Finnish company now has a presence in seven Chinese cities, Beijing, Shanghai, Kunshan, Suzhou, Xi’an, Qingdao and Wuhan, with offices staffed by more than 350 people.
“The development previously seen in Western countries can now be seen in China, meaning Chinese companies are starting to focus more and more on their core business and thus increasingly buying the expert services they need,” says Juha Näkki, president and CEO of Etteplan. “There is huge potential in the market, providing substantial opportunities for an expert engineering service company like Etteplan.”
Etteplan’s expertise lies in industrial equipment and machinery engineering services, embedded systems and Internet of Things (IoT), as well as documentation solutions. The company has been present in China since 2004.
