Finland’s executive education globally competitive

Hanken & SSE Executive Education, a joint venture of Finnish university Hanken School of Economics and Sweden’s Stockholm School of Economics (SSE), is once again the top executive education programme in Northern Europe, moving up five positions from last year to place 21st globally.

Meanwhile, the Aalto University Executive Education (Aalto EE) has strengthened its position by seven places to claim the 39th position. It’s the only independent Finnish player that features in the prestigious Financial Timesranking.

“Aalto EE’s success in the Financial Times ranking from one year to the next provides customers with a guarantee that its content, methods and trainers are of the highest global standards,” says Dr. Pekka Mattila, group managing director for Aalto EE.

The Financial Times divides the executive education programmes between open-enrolment and customised courses, and combines the results to reveal the world’s top 50 executive education providers.

This year’s top three were the Spanish Iese Business School, Switzerland’s IMD, and French Insead.
