Finnish eHealth company Mediconsult and its Sri Lankan subsidiary M C Medisoft have agreed to deliver data management solutions to hospitals in Sri Lanka.

Finnish e-health solutions provider Mediconsult and its Sri Lankan subsidiary M C Medisoft will deliver data management solutions to hospitals in Sri Lanka. 

A delivery agreement encompassing a patient register, visual reporting tool and centralised integration services was signed with governmental organisation Information and Communication Technology Agency (ICTA) in Sri Lanka.

<a href="https://www.mediconsult.fi/en" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Mediconsult</a>’s solutions will be integrated with existing software and services in the country&#8217;s hospitals, starting with the central hospital, in order to enhance healthcare in the country and cut expenses.

&#8220;We warmly thank the Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Business Finland for opening up contacts for us,&#8221; <a href="https://www.mediconsult.fi/blogi/mediconsult-toimittaa-terveydenhuollon-tiedonhallintaratkaisuja-sri-lankan-sairaaloihin" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> Tommi Salaspuro, CEO of Mediconsult. &#8220;After the successful completion of the Sri Lankan project, we intend to expand services to other Asian countries.&#8221;

The project will be initiated immediately and the first results will be showcased to the Sri Lankan health ministry in 2019.
