Qvantel, a pioneer in cloud-based telecom Business Support System (BSS) solutions and services, has partnered with Italian mobile operator Wind Tre.

The six-year agreement will see Qvantel provide Wind Tre with an important part of its BSS stack, including CRM and Omni-channel systems. The deal also includes managed services for the systems Qvantel supplies.

“We are extremely happy to be able to support Wind Tre in their path towards digitalisation and growth through new offerings and new business, and this multi-year agreement is proof of our commitment and continuous ambition to improve our customers’ business,” comments Ove Anebygd, CEO of Qvantel.

Qvantel’s solution will significantly improve Wind Tre’s digital offering and enhance the customer experiences on its online channels, while the new IT stack will simplify business processes.

“The new digital platform of Wind Tre is designed to support the most innovative online services, in order to best respond to the needs of our customers, who are increasingly digital-oriented,” says Benoit Hanssen, CTO at Wind Tre. “Thanks to this important partnership with Qvantel, Wind Tre will be able to fully digitalise its offering, creating a unique proposition to the market.”
