Arilyn and CCL partnership becomes a reality
Finnish augmented and mixed reality service Arilyn has signed a partnership with the world’s largest labels and speciality packaging manufacturer, CCL.
The partnership will see Arilyn’s augmented reality publishing suite integrated into CCL’s immersive packaging business. The Canadian packaging giant has clients all around the world in sectors such as food and beverage, consumer goods, and pharma. Its existing clients include the likes of Coca-Cola and Danone.
“CCL is a strategic partner for Arilyn since their customers include the world’s best brands, which usually also have the best stories,” commentedEmmi Jouslehto, CEO and co-founder at Robust North, the company behind Arilyn. “CCL is a perfect partner for us because they share our love of AR as a story-telling medium and know how to use it to offer breathtaking concepts to their customers.”
Arilyn has made headlines in Finland and abroad with its augmented virtuality campaigns for Helsingin Sanomat, Nokia and Arla. For the latter, Arilyn brought the Danish dairy product company’s milk cartons to life by embedding a digital game into the labels.
“After investigating and experimenting in the field of mixed reality and connected packaging for more than seven years all around the world, I am confident about the cooperation,” said Rafi Albo, global creative and head of connected packaging at CCL.
“Arilyn’s mix of technology and variety of unique features will help our customers and brands all over the world to engage with their consumers in a unique and highly immersive way, combining the power of their physical products with digital marketing and ‘on-life’ consumer experiences.”
