Peikko supports construction project in Lithuania
Finnish Peikko Group has received an order to supply its Deltabeam slim floor structure to the S7 Business Campus in Vilnius, Lithuania.
The order was placed with Peikko’s Lithuanian sales unit UAB Peikko Lietuva and comprises two kilometres of Deltabeam composite beams. In addition, Peikko will produce and deliver 260 tonnes of other steel structures, such as slab hangers and various connection items.
The S7 Business Campus is planned to cover two hectares of space, including 55 000 square metres of office space. The total investment in the project will exceed 100 million euros.
“We are proud to see our DELTABEAM becoming the essential element of such an ambitious project as the S7 Business Campus,” said Topi Paananen, CEO of Peikko Group. “Our co-operation both with the developer of the S7 Campus, M.M.M. Projektai, and the construction company Mitnija has been very fruitful.”
Peikko estimates the production will continue until February 2019. The Finnish company has previously supplied 4.3 kilometres of Deltabeam for the first two buildings in the S7 Business Campus project.
